Art school drop out.

Had a photograph in a museum once.

Went dumpster diving so I could find and put a tv into the ocean for a photograph.

Hey guys, my name is Ashley. Ive been doing art and creating things ever since I could remember. I found a love for photography the summer before my sophomore year of highschool. My mom bought me a Canon Rebel xsi and I was hooked. I was lucky that my school offered photo classes so I took the basic art photography class. I feel in love. After that I took AP photo the following two years.

During this time, I received three 4s (highest score you can receive) at VASE (Visual Scholastic Art Event) and had one of my photos not only accepted for the CAMH (Contemporary art museum of Houston) teen exhibit, Perspectives 174: Re: Generation, but my image was also one of six to be displayed outside on the banner. It was also one of four pieces that appeared on the cover of the exhibition catalog.

My junior year a representative from The Savannah College of Art and Design came and talked to us. I was obsessed. I found out about their rising start program and was accepted. I spent 5 weeks of my summer before Senior year at SCAD. I applied that fall and was accepted to attend college there.
